How This Site Was Born (a.k.a. A Mother’s Slightly Crazy Plan to Outsmart the PSLE)

Hi there! 👋

I’m just an ordinary mum in Singapore—okay, maybe slightly more dramatic than average—who once found herself knee-deep in assessment books, red pens, and PSLE anxiety. Like most parents, I wanted my son to do well. But I also didn’t want him to grow up thinking that learning = stress, or that PSLE = the end of the world. (Spoiler alert: it’s not.)

So here’s what happened…

The PSLE Panic

One fine day (read: a rainy Tuesday afternoon filled with Math meltdowns), my son looked up from his mountain of worksheets and sighed, “Mum, I hate studying.”

Oof. That hit me hard. Not because he was struggling—but because he was bored, stressed, and losing his love for learning.

Operation: Make Learning Fun (or at least less painful)

That night, while sipping kopi and scrolling through way-too-many parenting forums, I had an idea.

What if I made a fun little site just for him?
Something with games, silly stories, colourful challenges, and bite-sized learning—not just endless drills?

And just like that, I became a very accidental web developer.

The Birth of This Site 🎉

I started creating quizzes that felt like games, adding jokes to word problems (yes, Dad jokes count), and turning revision into mini-adventures. I tested everything on my son—who, to my surprise, actually liked it.

He laughed. He learned. He asked for more.

And I thought… maybe other kids might like this too?

So here we are. Whether your child is a Math whiz or just trying to survive the PSLE rollercoaster, this site is built with love, laughter, and lots of trial and error. It’s a place to learn without the pressure. To revise without the tears. And maybe—even just maybe—to enjoy the journey a little.

From one parent to another…

I know PSLE season can feel intense. But I believe our kids are more than just their T-scores. They’re curious, capable, and clever in their own quirky ways.

Let’s help them see that too. 💪

Welcome to our little corner of calm in the PSLE storm.
Let’s make learning fun again.
